From Submission to Settlement
An invitation-only afternoon walking through the future of specialty insurance, layer by layer — short talks, a carrier panel, breakouts and food, then a drinks reception overlooking the City until 7:30pm.
Hosted by founders from Bertie, Fluence, Reserv, ScyAI and Vitesse.
Specialty insurance is being rebuilt, and not by one company. Five teams have independently built the next generation of every layer a risk moves through, from the insured's own data to the moment a claim is paid.
No one company will build all of it. The carriers, syndicates and MGAs that win the next decade will assemble the strongest capability at each stage. This is the first time those layers have been put in one room, walked through in the order a risk actually travels.
-
01
ScyAI — submission built
An AI-structured risk profile assembled on the insured's side, combining operational data with hazard models to produce an underwriter-ready submission before the broker hits send.
-
02
Bertie — submission captured
A broker email arrives. One capture produces a structured quote, MRC and bordereau. The operational backbone for any carrier or MGA.
-
03
Fluence — portfolio steered
Every risk scored against historical loss patterns, with capital steer and line-size recommendations that turn underwriting judgment into measurable allocation.
-
04
Reserv — claim settled
A digital-native TPA from FNOL to settlement, feeding structured claims data back upstream to underwriting and portfolio.
-
05
Vitesse — payment moved
Insurance treasury and payments. Claims settled in seconds across 180+ countries, with real-time visibility on capital sitting in reserve.
Chief Underwriting Officers, Active Underwriters, Heads of Line and Heads of Claims from carriers, syndicates and MGAs. Numbers are intentionally limited — every seat a decision-maker.
A keynote to open, then the centrepiece: five companies walking through the full stack, layer by layer. A panel of carrier and MGA leaders already running these systems on what changed and what they measured. Breakout stations for the conversations you actually want to have. Food throughout, drinks to close until 7:30pm.
Keynote: Len Rinaldi, former CFO of Apple EMEIA and GM of Apple Western Europe, on performance and operating under pressure.
Seats are limited. Request an invitation below and we'll add you to the guest list.
